Terms and Conditions

Your instructor will provide you with driving tuition at the rate communicated to you from time to time. For details of current rates please ask your instructor.

Most on road lessons are scheduled to last two hours. In certain circumstances a one hour lesson may be available (eg. One hour before your driving test.)

While you are taking on road lessons and your instructor is unavailable for any reason, the instructor has the right to arrange for another instructor to provide some, or all of your on road driving tuition.

In the event your instructor cannot arrange for an alternative instructor to take your driving lesson, or in the event of mechanical breakdown of the vehicle in which you have been learning to drive, or for any other reason, your instructor reserves the right to rearrange a driving lesson to a time both convenient to you and the instructor.

While your are taking on road lessons your instructor will carry the appropriate insurance should you cause an accident as a learner whilst driving the instructors tuition vehicle, whether your are accompanied by an instructor or a driving standards agency Examiner.

To take on road lessons, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the required licence to drive under the tuition of an instructor. Your instructor will require to see your licence before the first lesson can commence. In the UK, to take driving lessons in a motor vehicle you must be at least 17 years old (unless your are disabled, in which case you must be at least 16 years old) and hold a valid provisional driving licence.

You must pay for each lesson in advance. Payment for the current or next lesson can be made direct to your instructor, please ask for current rates. We do not provide credit, we are also unable to accept credit or debit cards.

We do not work or accept calls on Sundays & Bank Holidays, If you send a text message you should assume it has not been received unless it is answered as these messages may be lost or delayed by the mobile phone company. The telephones are not manned when we are on holiday.

If you do not take lessons for 2 weeks, or do not contact your instructor for 2 weeks, we will assume you no longer wish to continue with driving lessons, your appointment slot will then be offered to other students.(If you are going away on holiday please inform your instructor how long you will be away).

You must give your instructor at least 2 working days notice, if you wish to cancel a driving lesson, otherwise you will still be liable for the lesson fee in respect of that lesson.(a working day being Monday to Friday 9.00am - 9.00pm and Saturday 9.30 - 1.30)

If for any reason the DSA (Driving Standards Agency), cancel your driving test, we cannot be held responsible. Should you, in our opinion, you not be ready to take the driving test, we reserve the right to refuse the use of the driving school car for that test. You will be given advanced warning verbally or if you wish in writing, so that your test can be cancelled and the fee not lost.

We do not guarantee to provide, or procure the provision of services if we are prevented from doing so in circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including without limitations the activities of civil government authorities, third party industrial disputes where we have taken reasonable steps to prevent the effect of such action on our services but have been unable to do so; acts of god; or severe weather conditions.

We carry a public liability insurance of £5,000,000

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England.
